02

Why Homeowners Pick Zip Blinds

Unlike ordinary roller blinds, a zip system runs the fabric inside guided side channels. The blind stays taut in gusty weather, seals the sides against rain and glare, and disappears neatly when retracted.

☀️

Cooler Spaces

Cuts direct sunlight and UV before it heats up your balcony or patio, so the space stays usable at noon.

🌧️

Usable in the Rain

A closed zip blind shields furniture and flooring from wind-driven rain — no more rushing to move everything indoors.

💨

Locked Against Wind

Side tracks grip the fabric on both edges. No flapping, no banging, even on high floors.

🔒

Privacy, Not Darkness

Screens out neighbouring views while still letting soft daylight and airflow through.

✨

Clean, Built-in Look

Slim tracks and a hidden cassette suit both modern condos and landed homes — it reads as architecture, not an add-on.

Quick Answers

How much do zip blinds cost?

It depends on the width and drop of your opening, the fabric you choose, and whether you go manual or motorised. WhatsApp us a photo and rough measurements — we’ll come back with a customised quote after a free site survey.

Will they really keep rain out?

Yes — with the fabric held in side tracks, a closed zip blind forms an effective screen against rain and wind-blown spray, which is exactly why balconies and patios are their most popular use.

What makes a zip blind different from a normal outdoor blind?

The side channels. Ordinary blinds hang free and swing in the wind; a zip system locks both fabric edges into guided tracks, so it stays stable, seals better and looks cleaner.

Is motorising worth the extra cost?

For wide or multiple openings, usually yes — one press operates everything smoothly, and it protects the fabric from uneven manual handling. For a single small balcony, manual works fine. We’ll advise honestly at the survey.

How long do they last?

With basic care, a quality zip blind system delivers many years of reliable use. Ours are built with durable fabrics and hardware chosen for Singapore’s climate, and we stay contactable for aftercare.
